Pana Australian Verdelho

We actually talk very little about the wine in this episode, so here's some information for you.  We had never even heard of "Verdelho", but apparently it is an Australian-grown grape that is gaining popularity.  Wine Selectors describes it as historically being used in creating fortified wines, now it is increasing in use for dry table wines (https://www.wineselectors.com.au/about-wine/wine-varieties/whites/verdelho/verdelho).  It really does taste a lot like a Pinot Grigio - although kind of simple.  Perfect for summer.  Definitely check it out!

The rest of the episode focuses on an attack of killer flies, anger over a broken pool pump, why fire ants deserve to die, a scary assessment of Chris' chest, and finding Dory at our pool!

Presenting the June Bright Cellars Wine Club Reveal Show!

The show you yearn for each month - the Bright Cellars wine club reveal show!!  Colleen takes exception to Bright Cellars' assessment of Sauvignon Blanc pairings with summer grilling options, and Chris goes back in the box.

Al Tivo Macabeo

A Spanish white wine - Macabeo.  A creamy chardonnay?  Does butter sink to the bottom?  And a shout-out to JP Soars - blues guitarist extraordinaire!
